Our Team

Dr. Shean Hobbs
Owner/Veterinarian
Dr. Hobbs has over 30 years of veterinary experience. He graduated from Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine and has experience with both large and small animal medicine, though he now focuses on small animal medicine. His hobbies include hiking,church activities and traveling.

Dr. Colton Holcomb
Veterinarian
Dr. Holcomb graduated from Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine. He has experience with both large and small animals, but has found his home at Family Pet exclusively seeing small animals. His hobbies include attending church, hunting and fishing.

Carla Light
Practice Manager
Carla has been the practice manager at Family Pet for 8
years. She graduated from East Tennessee State University. She loves all animals and enjoys spending time with her grown children, grandchildren and fur-babies.

Jeff has been at the clinic for over 12 years. He enjoys gardening and antiquing.

Johnnie Crawford
Veterinary Assistant
Johnnie has a passion for helping animals and has been in veterinary medicine for over 10 years. In her free time she enjoys sitting on the porch with a good book and her pup.

Ukelele Shiley
Veterinary Assitant
Ukelele graduated from ETSU and is currently enrolled in Ashworth College of Veterinary Technology. She has a passion for helping animals in need and her favorite things to do in her free time are spending time with friends and family and traveling.

Hannah Ostrom
Veterinary Receptionist/Assistant
Hannah has been caring for animals for many years. She managed a doggy-daycare before moving into the veterinary field. She is now a receptionist and veterinary assistant. In her free time she enjoys pet-sitting, dog-walking, traveling with her partner and friends and spending time with her dog, Sponge.

Bren Russell
Receptionist
Bren loves animals and enjoys horseback riding, spending time with her 3 cats and reading.

Lisa Nichols
Groomer
Lisa has been a groomer for over 30 years.
